⁹ Which is easier: to say to the paralyzed man, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say: ‘Stand up, take your mat, and walk’? ¹⁰ But that you may come to realize that the Son of Man^[a] has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he said to the paralyzed man— ¹¹ “I say to you, stand up, take your bed, and go to your home.”
